Get started
Everything a new user needs before working alone in AerTwin, in the order to read it — about an hour in total.
Read these topics in order. The first three explain how AerTwin works and how to sign in. The three tutorials then take you through the jobs AerTwin is built for: moving around a structure, reviewing the defects the AI has proposed, and recording a finding of your own.
- How AerTwin worksAerTwin runs the 3D model of your structure on a high-performance computer in the cloud and shows you a live picture of it in your browser.
- Sign in for the first timeSet up your authenticator app, save your backup codes and choose your own password the first time you open AerTwin.
- One task at a timeAerTwin works on one task at a time, so finish or stop what you are doing before you start something else.
- Your first 15 minutesOpen your structure, move around it as you would a CAD model, take a measurement without saving it, and ask AerTwin what something means.
- Your first AI reviewLook at the defects the AI has proposed near you and decide each one — sign it off with a severity, dismiss it with a reason, or skip it for later.
- Your first findingRecord a defect you can see, with its measurement, sign it off, and export it as a PDF report.
