Copy a repair instruction

Task text is offered on a finding that is signed off and has a Recommended action. It produces plain text for your existing work-management system. Copying or downloading it does not create a task anywhere.

To copy the task text

1. On the toolbar, click Observations, and find the finding.

2. On its card, click Task text.

   The Task text window opens with the text selected.

3. Do one of the following:

   • Click Copy text, and paste the text into your system.
   • Click Download .txt to save it as a file named after the finding, for example OBS-031-task.txt.

4. Click Close.

What the text contains

Classification	Category, severity and status
Measurement	The measured figure, for a measurement
Assessment	From Engineering assessment, when filled in
Recommended action	From Recommended action
Target date	From Target date, when set
Engineer sign-off	Who signed it off, and when
Independent review	Who made the second review and when — or that none was recorded
AerTwin record	The finding’s number and its permanent identifier, to trace it back
