Update the view of a measurement
Replace the view that a saved measurement flies back to — and that its PDF page is rendered from — with the view on the screen.
FindMeasurementsUpdate Fly-to view
Every finding stores the view it was recorded from. Fly to returns to that view, and the finding’s page in a PDF report is rendered from it. If the view does not show the defect well, replace it.
This is available for saved measurements. A point finding keeps the view it was recorded with.
To update the view
Section titled “To update the view”-
Select the measurement: click its pin, or its card in the Observations panel.

Move the view until it frames the defect as you want it in the report.
If a section plane is on, the cut is saved with the view.

In the Measurement panel, click Update Fly-to view.
The measurement’s saved view is replaced. The next Fly to, and the next PDF report, use the new view.
