Task
Find findings
Narrow the Observations list to the findings you need, by search text and by filters, and go to one on the model.
FindObservationsFilters
Searching and filtering change only what the list shows — and, with Show on model set to Matching filters, what the model shows. They never change the records.
To find a finding by its number or its words
Section titled “To find a finding by its number or its words”-
On the toolbar, click Observations.
-
In the search box, enter a number such as OBS-031, or any words.
The list shows the findings whose number, title, notes, location, recommended action or tags contain what you typed.
-
Click the finding’s card.
The view flies to the finding’s saved view, and the finding is selected.
To filter the list
Section titled “To filter the list”-
If the filter rows are hidden, click Filters.
-
Click the values you want in one or more rows:
Row Values Type point, measurement, bookmark Status open, monitoring, resolved, closed Category crack, spalling, seepage, corrosion, erosion, deformation, vegetation, other Review pending, signed, dismissed Source proposed (by the AI), mine (recorded by a person) Geometry coherent, stray anchors, not assessable A chosen value is lit. Click it again to remove it.
Within a row, a finding matching any chosen value is shown. Across rows, a finding must match every row. The count beside Filters says how many filters apply, even when the rows are folded away.
To show every finding again
Section titled “To show every finding again”- Click Clear filters. The search text and every filter are removed. Press Ctrl+Z to put them back.
