AI defects and review panels
The two panels you use to work through the AI's proposals — the AI defects list of what is near your view, and the review panel where you decide each one.
FindAI defects
Clicking AI defects on the toolbar opens both panels on the right: the AI defects panel in the lower half and the review panel above it. The words AI Review mode appear at the top of the picture, and the proposals near your view appear on the model as small hollow circles. Closing the panel removes the proposals from the model.
Anyone can open the panels and look. Signing off and dismissing need the Inspector or Admin role.
The AI defects panel
Section titled “The AI defects panel”| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Hide suggestions / Show suggestions | Hides or shows the proposal circles on the model. The list stays available |
| Review N nearby | Starts a review of the proposals in the list, nearest first. Unavailable when no proposal is in view |
| Defect type | Limits the list and the circles to one type — for example crack or spalling. All types shows every type |
| Defects in this view | The proposals near your view, with a count. Click one to review it on its own |
| Summary | How many proposals are still unreviewed, and how many are in this view |
AerTwin shows at most the 100 proposals nearest to your view. When more are in view, the summary says so: move or zoom to work on another area.
The review panel
Section titled “The review panel”Before a review starts, the panel reads Select an AI defect to review. During a review it shows one proposal at a time.
| Part | What it shows or does |
|---|---|
| Progress | For example “5 of 12 · 3 signed off · 1 dismissed · 1 skipped” |
| Leave review | Ends the review. Esc does the same |
| Proposal line | The number (OBS-…), what the AI thinks it is, and one measured figure |
| Outline warning | Shown when points of the outline landed on the wrong surface, so its size cannot be trusted |
| Geometry | Hide outline / Show outline; Edit shape with Apply and Cancel; Replace geometry with Cancel replacement |
| Severity | The five severities. Click one before Sign off, or press 1 to 5 |
| Sign off | Accepts the proposal with your name and the chosen severity — A |
| Edit | Opens the finding form for the proposal — E |
| Dismiss | Shows the reasons; click one to dismiss the proposal — D |
| Skip | Moves on and records nothing — S |
| Because | The dismiss reasons: not a defect, duplicate, not visible, out of scope, already recorded |
The photographs of the proposal appear along the bottom of the window. Press Enter to open the photograph the outline was traced on.
After Sign off, Dismiss or Skip, the next proposal opens by itself. When every proposal in the review has been decided or skipped, the review ends by itself.
