PDF report contents
What an AerTwin PDF report contains, page by page — the summary, the contents, a cover for each part of the structure, one page per finding, and the glossary.
A report contains the signed-off findings among those you exported. Every page carries a header line with “AerTwin — inspection observations”, the project and the date the report was generated, and its page number.
1. Summary
Section titled “1. Summary”The first page answers “how bad is it, and how much of it”.
| Block | Content |
|---|---|
| Title | Inspection observations, the number of findings and the project |
| Proposals | When AI proposals are involved: how many were signed off, how many dismissed and how many are NOT YET REVIEWED. The last figure is the one that says the inspection is unfinished |
| By severity | The number of findings at each severity, including those with no severity |
| By status | The number of findings in each status |
| By part of the structure | The number of findings in each group, and how many are not filed under a part |
| Measurements | How many findings are measurements, with the totals: Total area, Total length, Total cut, Total fill and Missing concrete with its quality word |
Groups show counts only. Figures are never totalled within a group, because its findings may carry different qualifiers.
2. Findings — the contents
Section titled “2. Findings — the contents”One line per finding, in the order the report prints them, under the heading of its group: the number, a severity mark, the headline figure, the title and the page number. In the PDF, each group heading links to that group’s cover page.
3. A cover for each part of the structure
Section titled “3. A cover for each part of the structure”When findings are grouped, each group starts with a cover page: the group’s number (GRP-…) and name, “N findings on this part of the structure”, the group’s note, and the list of its findings. Findings not filed under a part come last, without a cover.
4. One page per finding
Section titled “4. One page per finding”| Part | Content |
|---|---|
| Identity | The number, the severity, the status and the category; the title; the group and the Dam component / location |
| Verdict | The headline figure with its qualifier — for example the missing concrete with its quality word — and a coloured rule for the severity |
| Picture | The finding rendered from its saved view, with its measurement drawn over the picture. If the view was saved through a section plane, a note says so |
| Depth profile | For a profile, its cross-section |
| Assessment | The Engineering assessment |
| Recommended action | The action, with “BY” and the Target date when one is set |
| Foot of the page | Extent — the other figures on one line; how each figure was measured (grid, reference roughness, resolution); Proposed by for an accepted AI proposal; the tags; and when the finding was measured, logged, updated and signed off, and by whom |
A finding saved without a view carries its coordinates instead of a picture. If a finding’s notes do not fit on its page, the page says that the rest is in the CSV export.
5. Glossary
Section titled “5. Glossary”The last pages explain the figures used in the report — What these figures mean — and How far to trust a measured volume, with the quality words.
