Item Requirement
Browser Google Chrome, current version
Computer A desktop or laptop computer. A separate graphics card is not needed
Pointing device A mouse with a wheel. Right-drag and middle-drag are used to pan
Sign-in A phone with an authenticator app

AerTwin sends you a live video picture of the model. The picture uses up to about 30 Mbit/s for each person when the connection allows, and adapts to a slower connection.

Your organisation’s network — for your IT team

Section titled “Your organisation’s network — for your IT team”

The picture travels as a live video stream over UDP, directly from the AerTwin server that draws it. Allow this traffic outbound from the computers that use AerTwin:

Allow outbound To Used for
TCP 443 (HTTPS) twin.aer-intel.com and api.twin.aer-intel.com The application, signing in and the controls
UDP 41000–42000 AerTwin servers in the EU The live picture
UDP 19302 stun.l.google.com Setting up the live picture’s connection (recommended)
  • A network that blocks UDP, or that sends all traffic through a web proxy, stops the picture: AerTwin opens, but the model does not appear.
  • The servers’ addresses change with every session. If your firewall needs addresses rather than ports, contact support.
