Sign off a finding
Accept a finding under your name so that it enters the project's reports.
FindObservationsReview
Every new finding is a draft — those recorded by people as well as those proposed by the AI. Only signed-off findings appear in PDF and CSV reports. Your name comes from your sign-in and the time from the server; neither can be typed in.
To sign off a finding
Section titled “To sign off a finding”-
On the toolbar, click Observations.
-
Find the finding. Its card is marked draft.
-
On the card, click Review.
The review panel opens on this finding alone, and the view flies to it.
-
Check the evidence, and then click a Severity — or check the one already lit.
Sign off stays unavailable until a severity is chosen.
-
Click Sign off, or press A.
The card’s mark changes from draft to ✓. The status line says, for example, “OBS-031 signed off — it will now appear in the report”.
To sign off the AI’s proposals in bulk, review them instead. See Review AI proposals.
What happens to a signed-off finding
Section titled “What happens to a signed-off finding”- It appears in PDF and CSV exports, with your name and the time of the sign-off.
- If anyone later changes its content — the title, the assessment, the severity, the outline, the saved view, and so on — the sign-off is withdrawn and the card shows draft again. Changing only the status or the tags keeps it.
- Undo never restores a sign-off. A finding that lost its sign-off must be signed off again.
See About findings and sign-offs.
To take a sign-off back
Section titled “To take a sign-off back”On the card, click Undo. The finding becomes a draft again and leaves the reports.
